Welcome to our class page. Everything you need to know about our curriculum, PE days, homework and important dates can be found here. 

Onyx class will be taught by Mr Hill. 

Homework

We would like to request your support in continuing your child's learning at home through weekly homework. Homework will be set each Friday and will be due back the following Friday. Children are able to access a homework club on a Thursday in the library.

* Maths and English homework will be completed through the online learning platform called 'Atom'. Children's log-in details are on the back of their new Learning Logs. Children will be set science homework every other week, alongside their Maths and English 

* Children will also be expected to read five times a week for a minimum of 15 minutes. Please ensure to sign your child's Learning Log as this will be checked daily by adults in the classroom. 

* Children will be expected to complete 15 minute minimum Time Table rock stars. 

* Spelling will be set weekly, with the spelling test the following Friday. 

PE Days

Onyx PE days will be Monday(indoor) and Friday (outdoor). Please ensure children come into school with suitable clothing for the weather on that day. At least one of the PE sessions will be outside.

 * 30th September - Year 6 Learn Together 

 * 1st October - Class Assembly 10:30am

 * 7/8th October - Parents Evening

 * 12th October - Carers Day

* 23rd October - End of Half term 

 * 11th November - RAF Hendon Trip
