We have a busy and somewhat shorter half term ahead what with a number of bank holidays!

We will be doing lots of revision and learning before the SATs for year 6, but will be making sure to have a balance between this and the other lessons as well!

PE days are Monday and Friday this term - both of these lessons will be outside with one focusing on Cricket and the other on athletics.

Homework:

Year 6 you will be starting new homework which are SATs focused. We have bought you all revision books for us to deliver this and will set your homework daily.

Year 5 your homework remains on Google classroom in the form of the grid. Each week you will be expected to complete TT Rockstars and Prodigy maths homework alongside the spelling homework.

Reading you must continue to read and record a minimum of 5 reads per week.

Reading records and due in school every day.

Learning About Fossils!

Christmas in Onyx!

During the first term back at Tithe Farm, the children of Onyx Class have been learning about The Northern lights. They have produced their own amazing display of Aurora Borealis.

The children have also had fun creating their own Fantastic Beasts. They copied these photos from reading the description of the fantastic beasts. They did this without knowing what the beast looked like!

We have also been learning about Karl Nova. Creating our own version of his poem entitled 'Four Seasons'

All this beautiful work deserves rewarding! Here are some of the children who have achieved a learning friend in Onyx Class.

Amazing art!
