Local Visits
At Tithe Farm Primary School we strongly encourage regular opportunities for outdoor and offsite learning and we try incorporate these into the curriculum for each year group in the School.
To make the organisation of these visits a little less complicated, we gather general consent for these when your child starts with us.
Local visits will comprise of any visits within the Community such as walks or sporting fixtures. This will include where the pupils are walking and where no monetary contribution is required. Such visits would of course have the requisite regulation staff supervision and cover in place.
We will continue to inform you, as and when such educational visits will take place, and will advise you if the pupils require anything for the trip, such as wellies. However, with this generic local consent in place, there would be no need for you to consent each time.
On educational visits or trips where any kind of cost is involved or a voluntary contribution is required, or where the pupils are travelling by any other method, you will receive an email with details and the trip will be added to your Arbor Parent Portal.
